Azerbaijan Airlines turns 2026 boarding passes into tourism perks

Azerbaijan Airlines is turning its passengers’ boarding passes into a passport for discounts across the country. The carrier launched the campaign on 29 September to mark Tourism Workers’ Day, giving passengers with a boarding pass from an Azerbaijan Airlines flight operated in 2026 access to hotel, restaurant, spa, wellness and entertainment offers through the end of December.

Discounts reach 25% at selected properties including Badamdar Hotel and Residences, Yevlakh City Hotel and The Central Point Baku. Other participating hotels and resorts are offering reductions of between 10% and 20%, with the list including Shahdag Hotel & Spa, Lankaran Springs Wellness Resort, Shamakhi Palace Sharadil, Garabagh Resort & SPA and properties from Absheron Hotel Group.

The campaign also includes a complimentary Baku City Tour bus ride, available until 31 December. Selected attractions, including Yanardag, Ateshgah Temple, the Mud Volcanoes Tourism Complex and sites in Sheki, offered free admission on 3 October.

Passengers, however, must keep the original physical boarding pass and present it to the participating business. Each pass can be used once and is then retained by the partner, while electronic boarding passes are not accepted. Offers are subject to availability, blackout dates and individual partner conditions.

The initiative links air travel with accommodation, attractions and wellness services, encouraging visitors to explore more of Azerbaijan right after leaving the airport.
